Light
In habitat, Anthurium macrolobium develops beneath layered tropical canopy where filtered rainforest light reaches the understory in softened shifting patterns. Bright indirect illumination supports stronger foliage expansion, deeper lobe formation, and healthier structural development. Meanwhile, excessive direct sunlight may scorch the broad leaf surfaces and reduce overall foliage quality. In cultivation, collectors often achieve the most dramatic mature specimens under diffused greenhouse lighting with stable humidity and gentle airflow.
