Light
In habitat, Amorphophallus eburneus develops beneath filtered tropical canopy where softened light moves gently across limestone forest understory. Bright indirect illumination supports stronger canopy formation, balanced petiole development, and more refined floral coloration during active growth. Meanwhile, excessive direct sunlight may stress the foliage and diminish the species’ characteristic elegance. In cultivation, collectors often achieve the most atmospheric specimens under humid greenhouse conditions with diffused brightness and shaded afternoon protection.
