Light
In habitat, Anthurium moodeanum develops beneath dense tropical canopy where filtered rainforest light reaches the understory in subdued shifting layers. Bright indirect illumination supports stronger foliage expansion, deeper mature coloration, and more balanced structural growth. Meanwhile, excessive direct sunlight may scorch the leathery leaf surface and diminish tonal richness. In cultivation, collectors often achieve the most dramatic foliage coloration under diffused greenhouse lighting with stable humidity and gentle airflow.
