Light
In habitat, Amorphophallus lambii develops beneath dense rainforest canopy where filtered light moves softly across the understory throughout the day. Bright indirect illumination encourages stronger canopy development, thicker petiole structure, and more balanced seasonal growth. Meanwhile, excessive direct sunlight may stress the foliage and reduce overall vigor, particularly during active expansion. In cultivation, collectors often achieve the most impressive growth under humid greenhouse conditions with diffused brightness and protected afternoon shade.
